WELCOME TO OZ!

Get all the information you need before you begin your magical journey to the Emerald City (aka the National Theatre, St Kilda).

 

• The running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission.

• Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the start of the performance.

• Photography or recording of any kind during the performance is strictly prohibited.

• Suitable for ages 8+.  Like The Wizard of Oz, Wicked is the definition of family-friendly. But like the classic 1939 movie, younger children may find it too long or be frightened by the show's flying monkeys, allusions to offstage violence and death of a character. Most children over eight, however, will be delighted by the world of Wicked.

• Not suitable for infants due to the length of the production, loud noises and theatrical effects.​ All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

• The National Theatre offers soft drinks, water, beer, wine and snacks 1 hour before the show and during intermission. Bars are located on the lobby and mezzanine levels.
